A home inspection is an objective visual analysis of a home's structure and systems.
An inspection will determine the areas of a home that are not performing properly, as well as items that are beyond their useful life or are unsafe.
Inspections include areas of the home's interior and exterior, from the roof to the foundation and the exterior drainage and
retaining walls. If problems or symptoms are found, the inspector will recommend further evaluation.
A home inspection identifies problems or conditions that exist at the time of the inspection.
A home can’t fail an inspection. A professional home inspection gives you an independent, unbiased view of and problems and suggests possible solutions, giving you the facts you need to make an informed decision about your purchase.
A typical home inspection takes between 2-3 hours to complete. Every home is unique, so some may require more time than others, so it is a good idea to keep a flexible schedule around your appointment. We recommend that you accompany the inspector during the inspection so that you will have visual reinforcement of your written report.
